Drospa stalked through the dusk-cloaked alleyways, his deep blue coat blending in with the purple-hazed shadows. He wasn't looking for trouble, tonight; no, instead he had simply come here to escape. To escape all of the meaningless lies that now made up his life...ah, why couldn't things just be simple again, like they had been when he was just a tiny kitten?

][ *___* Star Wars Rivet RPs. XD
Actually, I'd rather have him RP with his abusive sister. They have an interesting interaction going on between them... ][
][ EDIT: *glomptackled Nicholas, gives him a box of Pocky, and wibbles off again* ][

Ytoria sat behind a pile of boxes and scrap metal in the trash littered alley, hiding from the faint glow of the artificial light. She was resting from a not quite satisfactory hunt, her tail twitched slightly in agitation and hunger... 'There is nothing left in this forsaken city' she thought to herself, 'nothing organic at least...' she began to clean her fur in thoughtful malice, when she heard something. Not a loud something, but the ever so slight click of a bionic paw against the concrete. The fur of her back raised and all her senses sharpened; but she was not afraid, she was simply ready to fight.

][ *_* I want to mate someone with Sairae someday...so pretty. ][
Dros leapt nimbly, his simpaws scraping slightly against the asphalt, and landed with a dull clang atop a bile green dumpster. A stale breeze ruffled his coat as he stalked the length of the graffitied construct, and his red eyes glinted, reflecting the dim, artificial light. His small, black nose twitched occasionally as he tested the city air.
Suddenly, his body lowered into a crouch, hackles raised, blue lids reducing his crimson orbs to slits. There was a scent on that breeze that did not abide well with him. He would know it anywhere...
Silently, now, Drospa flowed over the lid of the dumpster to land once more on the dirt-strewn ground. He snaked across the alley until he spotted a small mound of trash, concealing the space behind it in inky shadow. He smirked, stealthily stepping closer to the shadowed niche. His voice, young but masculinely deep, was filled with barely-concealed malice as it issued softly forth from his slightly parted muzzle. "Ytoria."

((I know... I luff her so much. *.* You might wana get another male first, tho... Ooohh.... Inbreeding...haha. ))
"Drospa!!" her raspy, yet somehow seductive feminine voice rang out in surprise. She grinned malignantly, sarcastically even. "I should have known you’d be sulking around here… little brother.” She narrowed her eyes at her relation and her smile dropped, her last phrase dripping with antipathy.
Ytoria finally stepped out into the glow and approached her brother; she sensed strong hatred in him, but she was not intimidated yet. She slowly started to circle him, as if her brother was her prey. She grinned maliciously "How's our mother?"
((did I mention I am a highly out-of-practice roleplayer?))

Drospa scowled. "She's doing well, no thanks to you." His narrowed eyes glittered with hatred. Little brother, indeed. He was twice the fighter she was, and he didn't doubt that she knew it. When they were young, his smaller size had put him at a disadvantage. But now that they were both grown, and roughly the same size...
Unconsciously, he, too, had begun to circle. Now, instead of being strictly hunter and prey, the two Rivets were circling each other, on equal status.

"Whatever do you mean!?" her tone was sarcastic, full of scorn, "You say that like I've done something wrong!" she chuckled despite herself, "tell me, how have I wronged you so?" she was taunting him, rallying his hate.
Ytori keenly noticed the shift of balance, and Drospa's complete and utter lack of fear. It surprised her, he had changed much more than she'd suspected... it made her angry. 'Why isn't he afraid?' she asked herself in bewilderment, starring straight into her brother's hating eyes. 'heh... I shouldn't worry... he WILL be.' the side of her mouth twitched into a half smile.
'His tentacles might put him at an advantage...' she thought, 'IF he knew how to fight like their father.' She'd always been jealous that he'd been the one born with tentacles, and not her.
One slim triclaw in front of the other, she crept along in this dance of theirs. Now the only question was who would take the lead?

Now it was Dros' turn to laugh. "Oh, I would never imply that you had wronged me...sister." The black metal of his three-clawed simpaws matched the glitter of his eyes as he circled his sibling in the poorly lit alley. His movements were executed with liquid grace -- it seemed almost as though he were a flowing force of energy, circling in time to the other. The tuft of pure white fur that adorned the tip of his tail twitched back and forth in the dark like a flag of surrender -- but in reality, it was anything but. Dros was ready for a fight.

"oh." she said bluntly, "that's good to know"
The tension and the silence that had been hanging over them so long, broke; with a screech Ytoria thrust herself across their circle straight at her brother's body. Her ruffled frame flashed through the light, she lifted her right simpaw to slash at her brother's chest.

Dros hissed and jerked away, but not fast enough. Ytori's claw connected, drawing a thin red line across his deep blue chest. With a yowl, he twisted out of her reach, then rebounded back and leapt, flashing past her without the single flick of his sharp, black claws. Instead, he brought his most effective weapon into play -- the two long, barbed tentacles on his back, each capable of delivering a painful dose of toxins, much like that found in the stingers of bees, into the flesh of his prey. Just before he hit the ground on the other side of his older sister, one of those tentacles lashed out, aiming to deliver a stinging blow to her beige-furred back.

((sorry it took so long, it's mother's day over here and all))
Ytori didn't respond fast enough, the poison barbs dug into her hide. She screeched and frantically tried to tear herself free from the pain of the tentacle, flailing out with her sharp claws in all directions. She tore herself free a little too fast, ripping out some fur and skin. Ytoria jumped back, 'Humiliating.' she thought in anger. She wouldn't stand for this, could her little brother, win against her?? 'No. He doesn’t have a chance.' she tried to convince herself. In a spilt second she dove towards her brother, both metallic claws barred, aiming to get him on his back to attack his more vulnerable side.

Dros didn't have time to gloat over his successful strike before his sister came hurtling towards him once again. He flexed his truncated muscles, preparing to spring away and leave Ytori with a faceful of soot and gravel -- but he realized that she was coming in too fast. If he leapt to the side, she could snag his side with her sharp claws and tear it wide open. So he did the unexpected -- he braced his four legs firmly for impact, and brought his two tentacles around so that they hovered, barbed side up, right over his back. The force of his sister's tackle might send him tumbling, but he would be sure to get in another shot.

Her feline frame shot like an arrow towards her brother's braced body; meaning to push more than pierce him, but didn't really care if a little of that happened too. As hardened as her mind was, Ytori didn't have any intention to kill her brother. ALMOST killing him though, was well within her moral boundaries; if they could be called such.
She connected harder than she expected.
